Motorway e-vignette

Before driving on Bulgarian motorways or expressways you need a valid e-vignette, registered to your number plate. Bulgaria adopted the euro on 1 January 2026; 2026 prices for cars are: weekend 5.11 EUR, 7-day 7.67 EUR, 30-day 15.34 EUR, 3-month 27.61 EUR, annual 49.60 EUR. Driving without a vignette means a fine. Important: the euro changeover has triggered a fresh wave of scam sites showing euro prices with hidden fees. Buy only at bgtoll.bg (Road Infrastructure Agency) or via the authorised channels vinetki.bg and tollpass.bg (operated by Intelligent Traffic Systems) and listed resellers such as digitoll.bg, epay.bg, A1.bg, yettel.bg and vivacom.bg. After buying, always confirm your plate is registered at bgtoll.bg.

Who it applies to: Vehicles up to 3.5 t using Bulgarian motorways/expressways. · Exceptions: Vehicles over 3.5 t pay per-km 'Toll' instead of a vignette. · Verified: 17.07.2026
